Selected applicants may receive grants of $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 to assist with their home purchase.

Why I Started Homes for Healthcare Workers

Hello, I’m Jana Dynes, founder of Homes for Healthcare Workers.

Before entering real estate, I worked within the healthcare community and developed a deep appreciation for the people who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Many of my closest friends and family members work in healthcare, and I’ve seen firsthand the sacrifices they make every day.

Healthcare isn’t limited to hospitals and clinics. It includes caregivers helping aging parents, home health workers supporting families, therapists guiding patients through recovery, and countless professionals who work behind the scenes to keep our communities healthy.

Over time, I noticed a troubling reality: many healthcare workers who spend their careers helping others were struggling to achieve homeownership themselves.

Whether it’s student loan debt, rising housing costs, higher interest rates, or the challenges of relocating for a new opportunity, too many deserving professionals find themselves just short of reaching their goals.

Homes for Healthcare Workers was created to help close that gap and provide meaningful support to the people who care for all of us.
